On a South Australia Water  Project John Holland is using the hybrid energy system the FPS20-10 + fast deploy 10kW array & 21kWh Battery at a remote worksite. This setup is providing power to lunchrooms, offices, and a toilet block.

Summary of the energy use:

  • Total power consumed: 3,759 kWh

  • Power from renewable sources (like solar): 3,614 kWh

  • Power from a diesel generator: 145 kWh

  • Renewable energy made up 96.1% of the total power used.

 

By using this system, they saved:

  • 9,418.58 liters of fuel

  • $20,720.88 in fuel costs.

Swoop Aero - Murchison Test Facility 

FPS20-10 with 10kW Solar Array & 14kWh Battery

Swoop Aero, Murchison Test Facility is using the hybrid power system FPS20-10 with 10kW Solar Array & 14kWh Battery at a remote drone testing site. This system provides electricity for drone chargers, communications equipment, an office/lunchroom, and pumps for clean water and the septic system. The site operates 10 hours a day, Monday to Friday, while the chargers, server, and security equipment run 24 hours a day.

Here’s the energy breakdown:

  • Total power used: 7,597 kWh

  • Power from renewable sources (like solar): 6,683 kWh

  • Power from a diesel generator: 914 kWh

  • 88% of the power came from renewable sources.

 

The system saved:

  • 25,098.7 liters of fuel

  • $55,217.14 in fuel costs.
